Welcome Chris

We usually fish under the old traffic bridge and in The Cut. Main targets are Herring and Tailor. Size 4 - 6 clousers usually work pretty well. Colour combinations will be yellow over white, olive over white, white over white. I mainly fish with a 5wt intermediate line.

Tight lines

Hi Chris
I think Andre actually means the NEW traffic bridge on the Mandurah bypass, access off of Leasure drve.
A nice easy place to fish but it means wading out to the first pylon and casting into the channel. This is definitely the hotspot for herring, small tailor and the occassional skippy. Another is in the channel that runs in the front of "Aquous" at the end of Sticks blvd in Erskine.
There lots of bream in the Murray and Serpentine rivers but getting to them from the shore with a fly is very difficult. A good place to try is in the Murray is from the jetty next to the Clansman restuarant in South Yunderup.
A group of us from Mandurah usually travel up to Perth together for the club meetings if you are interested let me know.
Good luck Rog
