Hi guys,
Just wondering where everyone had their stripping baskets made up? I need to get one soon for an upcoming trip to Exmouth.. This home-made jobbie isn't going to cut it!
Would anyone have a spare one lying around that they are looking to get rid of?

stripping baskets?
Re: stripping baskets?
Got a nice one from Rohan that works well, else speak to Mike, his brother left one behind so he has a extra.
Re: stripping baskets?
Yeah, speak to Rohan, and see if he has any left. You want the Arnold Tucker stripping basket.
If you can't get one in time for your Exmouth trip, you're welcome to borrow mine.

Hi Ryan
You want something inside the basket to stop line from moving around too much (Stops the line from getting tangles). Something like whipper snipper cord, or cable ties is a quick fix. Have fun.

Re: stripping baskets?
You can go to Bunnings and ask for free silicone sealer applicator nozzles, or just take them from the container against the shelves where the silicone sealers are. Get a piece of foam (closed cell works best) or rubber matting and cut it to the exact size of the bottom of your stripping basket. Now measure a grid on the foam so that you have room for four to eight evenly spaced nozzles and punch or cut holes a little smaller than the base of the nozzles in the foam. Push the nozzles through the foam from below and drop the setup into your stripping basket and you are set to go fish.
