Been playing around with a bit with this material. Picked it up from Dan at Flyworld. It's a flash material that can be mixed with dubbing to give a little lift.
Note the quantity of flash to dubbing. Too much of the UV dubbing, and the fly just doesn't look quite right. I've used approximately 1 part uv dub to 5 parts bms dub.
With flash mixed in. To mix the flash, simply 'tear' through the two dubbing so that they mix through. Using a comb to comb through the two materials will work as well.
Shrimpy looking fly with the mixed material.
Dubbing is Tiewell BMS dubbing in tan. Will work well with other types of dubbing as well. Ice Dub UV Pearl
