Fished under bridge this morning. Lots of herring. I caught about 15 in just over an hour.
It was bloody freezing, I couldn't stand it any longer.
Pity they don't get herring in Weipa, I might think about moving there.

Hi Roger,

Hi Sam
Just white clousers on a size 4 or 6 hook.
A bit of craft fur and meybe tied on with some red thread and a bit of flash.
If their on the bite they will take almost anything that is retreived quickly.

Hi Roger,
I went to the bridge on Saturday and caught a dozen or more herring. Small - 20 to 30cm - but great fun on the 3#. Now I am going to get my smoker going and next time I'll keep a couple. I wish there I knew of a place on the Swan where I can have as much fun with herring.

Kind regards

Sam
