Meeting Tuesday 6 August 2019 - Tackle Auction

Hi all
August meeting will be our annual tackle auction. Please try and keep items related to fishing.
This is a fund raising event for the club. 10% of sale price will go towards the club. Please take this into consideration when setting your reserve price.
In past years,there's been great bargains to be had on the night.
For those new to the sport, this is also a good time to pick up some well loved gear at reduced prices.
Please make sure you bring some cash along, as all sales need to be finalized on the night.
We'll try our best to wrangle Phil into being the auctioneer for another year. If not, the committee has in mind a new auctioneer.
If you have gearto sell on the night, please make sure that you come along early on the night to register what you have for sale. If you have some premium rods or reels to move on, please post up on here to make sure that guys interested will bring along enough cash to make the purchase on the night.

Just a reminder that this coming meeting is a tackle auction. We would like to encourage members to keep items fly fishing related.
If you know of someone that is looking to get into fly fishing, this is a good chance to pick up some new to them bargains.
For the buyers out there, please remember to bring some cash along. All purchases need to be settled on the night. If you have a high end item to sell, it may pay to advertise on here so people know what's up on offer.

I will have the following for sale.
Sage 4250 reel and pouch. 5 - 6 weight reel. In excellent condition. Reel looks almost brand new. 30 lb backing
Sage 4280 reel and pouch. 7 - 8 weight reel. Again, this reel is in excellent condition. Has a few small scuff marks on the rim.
Hatch pliers and pouch. These are the first generation pliers that hatch released. Well used, but in perfect working order.

• TFO MiniMag 6-8 rod (hardly used but not new).
• Targus 8wt 9' rod. VGC. Good spare rod.
