We have a casting day coming up in October. Please note change of date from the club calendar, as quite a few of the committee members will be away on the 22nd.
Date: Sunday 29 October 2017
Start time of 10.00am
Venue to be confirmed, at this stage, Nedlands Rugby Club Grounds. At the end of The Broadway, Nedlands.
This is a chance to try out different lines, rods, and reel combinations. If you are on the lookout of a new outfit, members usually bring along a large range of different outfits for everyone to try.
It is also a great time to get some tuition from some more advanced casters. Our resident Certified Casting Instructor Hirdy, should be along on the day. If there is enough interest, we'll run a beginners clinic on the day.
We will also be running a competition, details to be announced on the day. We will be keeping this as more of a fun event, and encourage everyone to participate. The club will provide a prize for the event.
We'll have a sausage sizzle running for lunch.

Reminder that the casting day is this coming Sunday. Venue is Nedlands rugby grounds, at the end of the Broadway, Nedlands. Weather forecast looks ok at this stage. Lots of rods and reels to try out. Casting tips for the coming summer season available.
