This coming meeting we have the following on offer.
With the upcoming freshwater field day coming up, we'll run through some ideas on freshwater fishing in the south west of Western Australia. We again have available a property near Logue Brook Dam/Lake Brockman. Andre will post up some more information with his field day details.
Steve and I have had a bit of success in the last few trips targeting bastards. From the sweetlip family, this species is cause of curse from most other forms of fishing. When they are tailing on the flats, they become prime fly targets. They are not an easy fish to fool, and many have put in many hours trying to fool one of these fish. We'll be doing a how to to target these painted sweetlips, and brown blubber lips.
In conjuction with the above talk, Steve will be tying his prawn fly that has been fooling quite a few blue and brown bastards.
