Hi all
Just an early heads up for the upcoming meeting. July's meeting is our annual tackle auction.
For the tackle hoarders, here is a chance to 'lighten' the load. For the guys looking to kit up, time to put something away, as there are always a couple of gems on offer on the night.
There is always some great buys on offer on the night. In past years, there have been some absolute steals with rods and reels literally given away.
Please note that this is one of our club fundraisers for the year. The club takes 10% of all sales. Please keep this in mind when setting your reserve. For those looking to buy, please bring cash along, as all sales must be settled on the night.
This is usually a fun light hearted night, helped along with our guest auctioneer. When plied with enough alcohol, Phil is usually good for a laugh or two.
Hope to see you there.

Just a quick reminder that the tackle auction is coming up. As a suggestion, if anyone has premium rods or reels up for sale, maybe post up on here, so people will know what is coming up, and have an idea of how much funds to bring along for the night.

Amongst smaller items I will have a brand new never used Canon Ixus 160 camera, in box with memory card, charger etc. It has has one test run series of pics and I have just set the time and date on it yesterday. Its a 20 megapixel point and shoot, from what I can see they are selling as a clearance item at around $299 Australian. I will be putting a reserve of around $150 on it. My dad bought it and then decided it wasnt suitable for him so never used it, selling for him.
Also will have a new condition pair of Spotters Nexus Glass sunnies, and a brand new never used Shakespeare 50th anniversary esky with a "quick access to stubby's" hatch on top.
