Hey, guys.
Sorry I missed the April meeting. They always seem to fall on days when I'm away on site.
I'm heading out with a friend to sin for some sand whiting on the bottom, and was wondering if anybody had some suggestions for getting the fly rod involved in the game this time of year.
I'm fairly certain that no burley will be allowed on the boat, and we're going to be in some pretty deep water.
I've been trying to convert my mate to the ways of fly fishing for some time now, but he's too keen on bottom bouncing to try anything else.
Thoughts?
