North Island

Going to have a week to get some fishing in the North Island at the end of March - can anyone recommend locations or guides ?

Plenty of good areas in the north island. We fished the Taupo/Tongariro area in Sept 2012 and that was really good - heaps of rivers and not far to travel. I had a guide for one day - Chris Brennan. I recommend him, knows his stuff and a really nice guy. Google him for contact details.
