Albany on fly

Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum, finally got my arse in o gear and logged in!

Im heading down to Albany on Thursday for a friends wedding on Friday and coming home on saturday. Any tips on where to fish and what to target? I want to get the most out of the short amount of fishing time ill have! Planning on taking the 5wt and the 7wt down. Any advice and help is much appreciated!

Dave try the boardwalk above Middleton beach going up the hill,burley may help.could also emu point just as the tide is changing before and after low.otherwise it runs too fast.if you don't catch anything atleast you can go to the Sunday markets for fresh fish down on the foreshore,go early as it gets busy.
Small bream right up the end of the of the dirt track on the north side of the Kalgan,cross the bridge then turn left and go as far as you can following the river .you can goggle the road to see where it goes,

Looks like I may not get a chance to have a fish, maybe first thing tomorrow morning depending on how much of a good time I have tonight at the wedding reception haha.

Rudi,salmon holes first,first light.did I mention first light,take rock hoppers and maybe a PFD.lots of people read country folk,take no prisoners leave no fish most times.if in doubt go see jim Allen at Albany complete angler,Stirling tce.
Buy something,small retailer lots of info,mention you want salmon on fly,land based.4WD will travel, water vessel travel even further.
Lots to do even if its blowing its tits off,

Sorry rudi,we get salmon here in WA, don't know if we get that species samon from SA? With all the stuffed up weather you never know. ;(
