Saltwater Flyrodders

Hi all.
This month, Chef Dale has offered his services once again. He's going to do a quick demo of how to sharpen a knife. He's also going show us how to fully use up a whole fish from head to tail. There will be some fish for everyone to have a sample tasting.
The next field day is Moore River. This has always been one of the more popular events on our calendar. Andre will post more details of this soon.
Towards the end of June, we have a casting day organised. We will also be running a beginners workshop on this day. This is a good chance to try out different rod, reel and line combinations. More details to be posted on this soon.
Graeme has been running casting sessions before each meeting. He should be along soon to post details where and what time.

Yep, casting will again be on before the meeting at this location. I intend to get there around 4.30pm.

The weather forecast says lots of wind, so this will be a good opportunity to work on your ability to deal with wind from various directions.

(PS - there are lights there, so if you are worried about not getting enough casting time before darkness descends, don't. The lovely bright practice lines that we have on our club rods will stand out against the night sky like dogs' orbs. )
