Can I have a cast with your Sage Bass rods?

G'day all,

After buying Spencer's Largemouth Bass rod at the auction, I've fallen in love with it and I'm now looking to build a custom version (or two) to my specifications which may replace my TFO 8-10 minimags. Mine is the older version and I can only get blanks from the new versions. Trouble is, I don't know if I want the Largemouth again, or if I should opt for the Peacock Bass blank? It'll be used with 10wt lines, but only I will know which blank suits the way I cast. (Mudhole says the LM is a 10wt for 330gn line and the Peacock is a 12wt for 390gn lines)

If you have the current versions of the Largemouth and Peacock Bass rods (2012 or later), can you contact me to arrange a cast in a park or on water near your home please? (0400 340 900)

Cheers,
Graeme

Not yet. Was using the glass rods over the last couple of weeks on the salmon but used it tossing flies at mulloway this morning. No joy … :(

Bump!

Spence, the Largemouth works fine on salmon, though maybe a fraction under-gunned for my liking. I'll see what the Peacock Bass rod offers. :)

Cheers,
Graeme

So I'm told Martin. I'll phone him up and see if he can bring one to the meeting next week.

Cheers,
Graeme
