Hey guys, thought I'd share some photos of the bait Albert and I found stacked up under the trees in the river on the weekend. There were loads of Mullet (of all sizes) and in the shadows the water resembled some sort of 'Shrimp Soup' ! :D Quite a few bream feeding on them (shrimp showering out of the water) or close by, we caught a few bream (10cm long up to 36cm) :) Not sure if they are juvenile river prawns or just some sort of glass shrimp ? I'm sure one of you guys might know ?

Used to scoop those along the rock walls at vic park , awesome bait ( 5 or so per hook ) for bream and cobbler, and whiting down river. Good time to try a small shrimp fly pattern. Definitely shrimps, not juvenile prawns. You get a similar one along the coast , can be caught on the inside of marina walls dragging a kids bait net through the weed on the rocks
