Well boy's after Wade's post last week, there were plenty of swoffers out at Rowboat reef, Mewstone's and Stagglers on good Friday, most people connected to a few Salmon as well as Arnold and I being privileged to witness a genuine Salmon FROTHY ! :o just to the East of Stragglers. Watching them feed voraciously, chase stick bait teasers until they almost hit the boat hull and swallow flies was awesome ! Here are a few photo's I managed to get, some with one hand while fighting a salmon with the other. :D :D :D

What happen to the gelcoat Birchy?
Finally hooked into something to pull some line off the Harfin. It's a beautiful reel.

Nice pic Tony,
That Harfin looks awesome with some of that white hatch backing on it and an inter line, I'm champing at the bit to get some backing on mine and connect it with a few Salmon ! :)

Anyone know any likely spots between Preston beach and Freo to reliably target salmon from shore this weekend? My mate wants to go down to bunkers but I'm hesitant to be shoulder to shoulder and contending with boats.

Still haven't managed a salmon on spin or fly, they are like my bloody nemesis!

Hey Dave
Rohan found a massive school feeding at North mole the other day and caught a few off the rocks, with Salmon from shore best to cover some ground in the car and stay in touch with any friends doing the same until you run into them unfortunately, most often where ever they were yesterday they won't be today.
Spots worth looking at are Point Peron in Rockingham and Tims Thicket just south of Dawesville to name a couple. Gav said there was also a school sitting just outside casting range of the Dawesville cut last weekend as well. Good luck :)
