Quobba Cobia

I received the following from a former? member. Membership aside - a fantastic capture from the rocks - especially considering the 'men in brown overcoats' at this spot (Garths Rock).
Certainly worth celebrating! Well done Bryan Fernandes
Hullo fellow fly-fishing & Quobba nuts
Thought I’d share this with you, since it’s so rare these days to get a good fish past the greycoats on a fly-rod at Quobba these days (also cos I’d like to brag about it a bit ).
Couldn’t get a weight on it but this guy went exactly 120cm (4 foot) – which is supposedly 20.9kg according to the SASAA Species Calculator, which seems to be the most conservative one I can find. My guess would have been more like 17kg. Who knows.......

Cheers
Bryan
