Hi all
This month's meeting, we have Graeme running us through the Common Sense System of measuring rods.
Leon will fill us in on his trip to Canada.
For those that are interested, we are running the next instalment of the rod building clinic. We'll meet before the meeting at 6.30
This coming month's field day is Mandurah, and we'll do a rundown on where to fish around there.
Hope to see you there.

We have a late addition to the meeting. One of the boys from the Port Hedland chapter will be in town, and has kindly offered to show some of the stuff he's been getting into lately. Looking forward to Paul's talk.

Cheers Justin - it was crazy to some of the guys wading barefoot in the creek with fish like that being caught.

As part of my talk about the Common Cents System tomorrow night, I'm bringing my rod calibrating setup and demonstrating how to take measurements. The talk is about why we should take these measurements.

If anyone wants to bring a rod or two along, I can take the measurements and provide some feedback for you.

I am aiming to produce a database of the rods we have access to within the club as a resource for those who are looking to buy rods or lines.
