This has been gathering dust on my shelf since I purchased my Leica.

A great compact digital system that beats the pants off any point and shoot you can get out there. Perfect for DSLR like photos in a compact package to throw in the pack while out fishing.

Olympus E-P1
1140 shutter actuations
Aki Asahi Black leather kit

Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5 - 5.6 (kit zoom lens)
Olympus Zuiko Digital 17mm f/2.8 with step up rings and 49mm vented lenshood
Olympus Optical Viewfinder VF-1 (with framelines for above lens)

Charger, 2 batteries, neck strap, 4GB SD card, body cap, AV cables, manuals software
Micro 4/3rds to Leica adapter (allows the use of M mount lenses)

Chasing $400 for the lot. I can bring it along to the meeting or you can come check it out at my place if interested (drop me a PM).

I could be interested....

Looking at a couple of specs on line about the lenses, I am a little confused (that's not hard). Are the lenses auto focus? (I believe you can use manual focus lenses).

And what size filtes do the lenses take?

Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,

The new lenses are all autofocus (including the 2 included) but you can buy adapters to use older lenses from film cameras which are manual focused (you can use lenses form your old Olympus OM system, Leica glass etc). The filter size depends on the lens but I think the lenses included are both 43mm (I'll need to check).

To give you an idea of the focal lengths in 35mm film camera terms double the Olympus focal lengths. So you're getting a 28-84mm and a 34mm prime.

Something I forgot to mention is the camera performs really nicely in lower light - no problems in cranking the iso up to 1600.

Cheers,
Jon
