Hi all
This month’s meeting is the club’s Annual General Meeting. There is a formal part of the meeting that we will try and get through as quickly as possible.
Glen has just returned from a trip half way round the world. He’s kindly going to share part 1 of this epic adventure.
Chef Dale has again organised a fantastic end of year feast for us. Have a look at his post below.
Membership fees has stayed the same for the last 8 or so years. Unfortunately, we have had increases in both rent and insurance in the last couple of years. As such, the committee has decided that fees will need to increase to reflect this. Fees for 2020 as per below.
Full Member - $60.00
Junior Member - $30.00
Country Member - $30.00
The committee has also decided to increase field day fees. Money raised from field day fees goes towards purchasing prizes for the end of year. This will allow us to purchase better/more prizes.
Field day fees as per below.
Single field day - $5.00
Full year - $40.00
This year we had around 70 members join up. Without your patronage, the club won’t be here. There is a great mix of experienced fly anglers, who are all willing to share what has been learned over years of fishing. There are also those who are at the start of their fly fishing journey. It’s always great to see new members achieving new milestones. We also have a lot of members from around the world to draw from their experience and expertise. Please keep supporting the club by joining up in 2020.
Membership and field day fees can be paid via eft. 2020 membership forms will be going up on the website soon, and Brian will be sending out the club email soon.
Hope to see you all there.
