Hi all
This month's meeting we have a trip report from Roger. Roger fished Cooktown late last year, and will share his experiences.
I'll give the low down on buck tail. What to look for, as well as some handy tips on tying with bucktail. Time permitting will tie a couple of different flies as well.
Hope to see you there.

Hi Tony,

wouldnt mind learning to tie this type fly in preparation for the salmon season. All the ones I try from youtube are very heavy when they are done and difficult to cast on the 8WT. If not at cliub meeting can do on tying day if that suits better either.

Hi Dee
We can do something like this at the tying day. Meeting tonight will concentrate on bucktail. Time permitting I'll tie a few different flies, with the majority of materials being bucktail. One of them will be a bucktail deceiver.

Is anyone catching up for a cast beforehand?

I think Graeme is away again this meeting, so no casting session organized. Will get down to the club rooms earlier if you want to catch up Torren.
