Top stuff Diarmuid. Might pay to give your fish a rinse before the pic mate. Definitely no mistaking that it's a land based capture.

Great work Diarmuid ! patience is a virtue, looked like beautiful day to be catching Salmon off the sand, shore based Salmon fishing is the ducks nuts when the fish turn up ! Next time wash that fish and pull your buff down so we can see that ear to ear smile they put on your face

I had given my phone to a passer by who was watching me fight and land the fish, I was floundering around trying to pick him up while balncing my rod so it didnt end up in the sand and was then panicking that the phone was going to lock itself and I would have to unlock it again and I wouldnt get the pic. lol Turned out she took about 10 photos, 8 of them were me floundering around and 2 of me with the fish!

Ear to ear grin was right! Still cant wipe it off myself!
