Hi Jon,

I'm only interested in the 3/4, so please count me out.

Thanks,

Dave.

What colours are available Jon?

I will probably use mine for trout and bream so a nice dark colour would be great if possible..

Not that different Tony, about 1 line weight I would say :P

Managed to order a 3/4 weight myself, so we will be able to compare them directly. Still trying to get my head around the concept of a fly rod for $60 that are apparently nice to cast and tough to break...this could catch on :)

Uplining to a 5 wt line to get a better feel?
Adam. Fishing was tough this past Christmas. A lay day and a day spent walking the beaches because the wind wasn't kind. When we did get out, we struggled to find fish. The other boys found fish on the shoals and had a couple of good days. Steve and I are slow learners, and persisted with looking on the flats.

I thought of you. I'd hope to be able to get a leave pass with some good weather and invite you down the back again. It wasn't to be.

Sounds like it was fun, after all it is all about what floats your boat... In your case it's not much and that is why you haunt the flats
