2017 Saltwater Flyrodders Film Festival

With the success of the first film festival in 2015 &2016, It is back for the 2017 year. So get those cuts underway
and let’s see if we can go bigger and better for the third festival. To be held at the 2017 AGM December club
meeting.
- Entries open now.

- Entries Close 2 (two) weeks prior to 2017 December club meeting (If you miss the close just keep
editing and enter next year). Enter by bring along your movie to a club meeting on either nonreturnable
DVD or thumb drive.

- Films to be a maximum of 15 (fifteen) minutes (The Festival Director after viewing a film may
accept a film for the viewing evening, though request that it be re-edited if the production is
repetitive and has become a visual replacement for PROZAC.

- Productions that have not previously been screened at a “SALTWATER FLYRODDERS”
meeting/event are welcome.

- If it is Fly Fishing then it’s eligible. (Catching of Fish Optional, it just needs to be entertaining. It
would also want to be on the shorter side without actual fish captures.)

- Entries are open to anyone fulfilling conditions contained herewith.( or at the discretion of the committee)20

- Productions can have photographs and graphics, though these shall not exceed 20% of the run time
of the production. (Photos are for the Photo Comp, or do slide shows talk at a club meeting).

- Final selection to the “SALTWATER FLYRODDERS FILM FESTIVAL” viewing evening will be
at the sole discretion of the Director of the Festival and the committee, and no further
correspondence will be entered into.

No Prizes as yet (possible prizes may be announced in the future), just the unbelievable kudos of
selection in this low profile back yard event.
