there is a great spot called Killcarnup which is about 2km walk north of the Margaret river mouth along the cape to cape.
you can also take a very tame 4x4 track that takes you right to the point google map " old killcarnup road"
heaps of reef to walk out on and its great if the swell ...

If anyone has any photos i'd love to see them!
Dampier is absolutely electric. but the same goes for Dampier as it does in Exmouth... you really need to get on a tinny or something and get out there in the thick ...

i have stumbled across their website. i subscribed to their monthly electronic newsletter. mostly full of tarpon and bonefish tagging and research stuff. interesting read, but most of it all is relevant to The USA.
